Frozen Shoulder

Frozen Shoulder is a condition that affects the shoulder joint. It usually involves pain and stiffness that develops gradually, gets worse, and eventually subsides. It can last from a year to 3 years. Your shoulder is made up of three bones that form a ball and socket joint. These are the upper arm, shoulder blade, and collarbone. There are also tissues that surround the shoulder joint and hold everything together. This is called the shoulder capsule.
