Based on how you describe your symptoms, your physiotherapist or primary care doctor might be suspicious about osteoarthritis. Loss of range of motion, possible fluid buildup inside the joint, and discomfort along the joint line are frequently discovered during the examination. Determine the cause of the pain by asking questions about morning stiffness and the relationship between the discomfort and exercise. They can perform a number of tests to help them spot the symptoms of arthritis, and an X-ray may help them confirm their diagnosis, but some people may already be experiencing symptoms before the symptoms are clearly seen on the x-ray. The issues of discomfort, loss of joint range of motion, weakness, gait, and exercise tolerance will be addressed by your physiotherapist. Although we can't undo the damage to the cartilage, we can lessen discomfort, increase mobility and function, and delay joint degeneration. If a knee replacement is not an option for you, there are still many things we can do to help you regain your life and manage the symptoms of knee arthritis.
