Brain Stroke

There are two main categories of strokes: those caused by a blockage in blood flow and those caused by bleeding in the brain. Blockage of a blood vessel in the brain or neck, known as ischemic stroke, is the most common cause of stroke and is responsible for about 80% of strokes.
